Smart Bulbs Overview
Smart bulbs are a great way to get into smart homes, they are cost effective and easy for anyone to install as it’s as easy as replacing a light bulb!
Most of our smart bulbs are WiFi or Bluetooth and do not require a separate hub. For instance the Nedis Smart Life range simply connect directly to your WiFi.
The majority of smart bulbs are also dimmable so you can set the scene and adjust lighting levels to suit your requirements. You can even control the brightness with your voice by asking Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
TYPES OF SMART BULBS
At TECH4 you’ll find a wide range of smart bulbs.
SHAPES: They come in all shapes, types and sizes. We have standard globe smart light bulbs, smart candle light bulbs and even decorative filament lamps that are fully WiFi compatible.
FITTINGS: We have various smart light bulbs with different fittings such as B22 Bayonet Cap, E27 large Edison screw, GU10 for down lights and E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs for decorative lamps etc.
COLOURS: With smart bulbs you can have the normal warm white as well as warm to cool white colour adjustable smart bulbs. These are great as you can fine tune the colour temperature of your room to suit your decor. We also have a wide range of full colour changing smart bulbs that allow you to choose any colour you like! Great for parties and mood lighting.
VOICE CONTROLLED ALEXA LIGHT BULBS
Most of our smart light bulbs are fully compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. You can simply change a light bulb, connect to your WiFi then add it into the Amazon Alexa app for voice control.
You can then include your smart bulbs into different routines and scenes, for instance you can create an “All Off” scene and when you say “Alexa, All Off” she will turn off your entire homes lighting!
SMART BULB ACCESSORIES
Most ranges of our smart bulbs have accessories to further expand your smart home. For instance the Tuya Smart Life range of smart bulbs can also tie in with other devices such as smart switches, motions sensors, inline relays, plug in smart sockets and much more.
You’ll be able to create a full automated smart home simply by swapping out light bulbs!
