FEATURES

• HORN LOADED RIBBON TWEETER: The A100 horn-loaded ribbon tweeter draws from the same design as our flagship 7001 near-field monitor speaker. Its aluminium ribbon diaphragm features high sensitivity, dynamic response, broad frequency range and clear definition. Horn-shaped for directional high frequencies, the tweeter directs sound towards the listeners and reduces unwanted reverberation. Outcome of this is a full, 3D sound with every detail clear.

• 5” ALUMINIUM CONE LOW DISTORTION MID WOOFER: The 5" mid-woofer is crafted with anodized aluminum alloy cone in a cast magnesium alloy frame. Through Klippel's Laser Doppler Interferometer, the alu. alloy cone was designed carefully. Boasting a larger-than-usual 35mm dia. voice coil, it runs cooler and offers a more realistic musical dynamics and emotion. Lower temperature also means higher reliability.

• FULLY DIGITAL AMPLIFIER: The power amplifiers are TAS5754 Class-D from Texas Instruments. This amp's high input sample rate and PWM carrier frequency reduce noise and distortion. 192 KHz input rate supports digital processing, and 768 KHz PWM frequency delivers clean highs for the ribbon tweeters. One amp connects to the left and right channel woofers in bridge mode; the other to the channel ribbon tweeters.
