Returns Policy

At TECH4 we are committed to providing high-quality products from top brands that you’ll enjoy trouble-free use of for many years, however we understand that there may be times when you need to return or exchange something that you’ve bought.

Returning an item to us is simple.

We accept returns for orders within 30 days from the date of your order and in original packaging.

Our rules are simple, we understand that you need to open and test the item to decide whether or not you’re keeping it, so provided it’s packaged up as new with all original packaging intact and all accessories and within the timeframe then we will accept the return/exchange.

The process is as follows:

  3. Get A Refund / Exchange

IMPORTANT: All returns must be packaged correctly in original, undamaged packaging with all accessories. If a return arrives with damaged/missing packaging or the item itself is damaged then the return will be refused.

Returns must be sent back at your cost using a tracked & insured courier service.

We recommend Parcel Monkey as a cost-effective and easy to use courier service.

Exchanges

If required you can return your item to us for exchange to another product.

You can either order the new item and return the previous order for a refund, or you can return the item to us stating that you’d like to exchange it for a different item, we will then send a checkout link for the difference (or refund if cheaper) and ship the new item out to you.

Please note that re-shipments will incur a delivery cost of £5 to contribute towards postage & packaging.

Damaged Parcels, Missing or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We will provide a pre-paid returns label to get the item back to us for replacement ASAP.

Please do not send the item back at your own cost, we are unable to retrospectively cover shipping costs and will not take responsibility for missing or damaged parcels. 

We understand that receiving an item that has been damaged in transit is frustrating, but we will aim to resolve your issue promptly and efficiently.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

We aim to process all returns within 48 hours of them being received into our warehouse.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 4-5 business days.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Exclusions To Our Returns Policy

We work really hard to provide high-quality products at great prices complete with expert advice, guides and reviews.

Our returns policy is generous and forgiving, but there are some exclusions to bear in mind.

Open Box Items

Items bought as "Open Box", which are clearly indicated on the product pages, are excluded from the TECH4 Guarantee. They come with full manufacturers warranty however the statutory returns period of 14 days apply, after which we are unable to accept returns.

Returns With No / Damaged Packaging

If you return an item to us for return or exchange in damaged or with missing packaging then we will be unable to accept the return*

The item will be returned to you with a £10 shipping charge.

Please ensure that you keep all packaging & accessories for the 60 day returns period.

* does not apply if item is faulty.

Custom Items

Our returns policy does not cover bespoke, custom-made, or special-order items.

Warranty & Return Exclusions

Warranties & returns will not apply in the following situations:

  • If the product has been subject to misuse, mishandling, or accidental damage
  • If the product has been used for purposes outside of its intended design
  • If the product has experienced wear and tear that exceeds normal expectations
  • If the product has been altered or previously inspected/repaired by an unauthorised technician
  • If the issue arose due to the use of accessories or components not specifically approved or certified by the manufacturer for use with the product
  • If an unsuitable power source or battery has been used
  • If the product has not been properly cared for or maintained
  • If the products serial number does not match our records

Distance Selling Regulations

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.

As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
